So, instead of boycotting a poppy, boycot your Canadian flag on Canada Day instead.<br /><br />Remembrance Day is not for you (that might be your Birthday),<br />Remembrance Day is not for me (that might be Father's Day),<br />Remembrance Day is for veterans and others who have sacrificed. <br /><br />When a vet sees me wear a poppy on Remembrance Day, he is more likely to think that I am honouring his past. <br /><br />When a vet sees you without a poppy, what is that vet more likely to think about you?
